Vintage/Antique Jean Case CUT CO. Little Valley, N.Y. Fixed 3-3/4" Long Blade, Hunting Knife
The cutting edge has no chips or nicks on it, but it looks like the very tip of the blade is broken off (see pics). Some of the stacked leather rings on the handle are just a tad-bit loose. And the pommel/butt is also a little loose too. Fairly clear makers mark on the blade that reads:
"Jean Case CUT CO. Little Valley, N.Y."
(see pics). The leather sheath is in fair to poor condition, the leather is very dried out, and has a cut near the bottom of it (see pics). Not sure if the snap still works? I didn't want to break it off from the leather strap if it didn't work right. I believe the leather sheath might be original to the knife??? The knife is almost 7-1/2" long. The blade is 3-3/4" long. This old knife made between 1930 and 1949 is in  good condition for being possibly 90 years old.
